Groups 1 and 4 have been working on regrouping with subtraction.
Group 3 have been working on ordering numbers to the thousands place and rounding to the tens place.
Group 2 has been working on money recognition with skip counting.
Week of January 8-12:
We have been working very diligently on our middle of the year testing. After testing, we have been working on double digit addition and subtraction with regrouping.
Week of November 27-December 1:
Group 1 began a new chapter on subtraction and have been working on 2 digit fact families.
Group 2 has been working on rounding to the nearest 10 and adding triple digit numbers.
Group 3 and 4 has been working on adding coins to a $1.
Week of November 13-17:
All groups have been working on finishing up their units on money.
We have also been working on double digit with carrying, and learning all about what makes up a fact family.
Week of October 30-November 3:
The whole class has been working on coins. Learning their names, amounts, and how to skip count to find the total value. All under $1.
Week of October 2-6:
Group 3: We worked on adding two double digit numbers using place value.
Groups 1, 2, and 4 worked on comparing 3-digit numbers, simple subtraction, and identifying coins and adding the values up together.
Week of September 15-29:
Group 1, 2, and 4: We have been working on rounding. We will be working on comparing numbers all the way to the hundreds place next week.
Group 3: We worked on place value and learning different ways to work with it with manipulatives.

Week of September 18-22:
Group 3: We have been learning how to make groups of ten to help with double digit addition.
Groups 1, 2, and 4: We have been working on place value to the 100’s place, skip counting by using coins.
Week of September 11-15:
Group 1: double digit addition and place value.
Group 2 & 4: Place value and single digit addition.
Group 3: Ways to make 10 for double digit addition.
Week of August 28-September 1:
This week we have been working on a variety of math concepts. We have been working on single and double digit addition, fractions, place value and rounding.
Next week we will start our groups and working on more individualized programs.
